Why do I always wonder if there’s a more affordable option for this Cardan Protection? Is the 3mm thick German-made aluminum really necessary? Can’t they find a way to make it lighter and cheaper without sacrificing quality?

I’m still unsure if this Cardan Protection is worth the price? I mean, it’s a great product and all, but does it really provide that much protection? Has anyone experienced any issues with it coming loose during rides?
