DP Brakes Standard DP534
$65.00
The DP Standard brake pads are our OEM replacement sintered metal compound. Ideal for everyday street, off-road and ATV use, they provide excellent all-round braking hot or cold, wet or dry. Where applicable a high-tech ceramic heat shield is applied to the rear of each backplate to reduce the heat transfer into the fluid and prevent brake fade. Lasting up to 3 times the mileage of most other brands they have one of the lowest wear rates on the market. Very low levels of brake dust and no noise and no thermal cycle bedding-in required are also benefits of the DP Standard.
Feature
>> Industry high HH+ friction rated compound
>> Equal performance in wet or dry conditions
>> Ideal replacement on off-road bikes where durability is the requirement.
>> No brake fade/dust
>> Gray-colored aluminium oxide-based ceramic material on rear of backplate works as a heat shield in high-stress conditions.

I’m thoroughly impressed with the DP Brakes Standard DP534! The fitment on my Honda CRF 250L was spot on. I’ve been using them for a few weeks now and the braking performance has been consistent, whether it’s on dry or wet roads. What I love most is that there’s no brake dust or noise, which is a huge plus for me. The only minor drawback I experienced was that they took a bit longer to bed in compared to my previous brake pads, but once they did, the difference was night and day. Overall, I’d highly recommend these brake pads to anyone looking for reliable braking performance.

I’ve been using the DP Standard brake pads on my Piaggio Medley ie, and I must say, they’re a game-changer! The fitment is perfect, and the braking performance is top-notch. What I love most is that there’s no thermal cycle bedding-in required – it just works straight out of the box! If you’re in the market for new brake pads, I’d highly recommend giving these a try.

What’s the secret to making these brake pads last so long? Is it the sintered metal compound or the ceramic heat shield on the backplate? Whatever it is, I’m a huge fan of the DP Standard brake pads. They’re easy to install and provide excellent braking performance. My only question is: will they be compatible with future models of my bike?

Thank you for sharing your excellent experience with our DP Standard brake pads, Kian Tan! We’re thrilled to hear that they’ve exceeded your expectations in terms of durability and braking performance. As for the secret behind their long-lasting performance, it’s indeed a combination of our sintered metal compound and the ceramic heat shield on the backplate. The sintered metal compound provides exceptional wear resistance, while the ceramic heat shield helps to reduce brake fade by dissipating heat away from the fluid. Regarding compatibility with future models of your bike, we’d be happy to help you determine that. Please feel free to reach out to us directly for more information. We appreciate your 4-star rating and hope you continue to enjoy your riding experience with our products!

I’ve been using the DP Brakes Standard DP534 on my Honda CRF 250L and I’m extremely pleased with its performance. The brakes provide excellent stopping power, both on-road and off-road. The sintered metal compound is durable and resistant to wear, which is perfect for my adventure riding style. My only minor complaint is that the installation process was a bit tricky, but once it’s done, you don’t need to worry about maintenance or performance.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I feel like the DP Standard brake pads take a bit longer to warm up compared to my old brake pads. It’s not a huge deal-breaker for me, but it’s something I noticed. That being said, the braking performance is excellent, and I love that there’s no noise or brake dust. The price might be a bit steep for some people, but for me, it was worth it.

I was skeptical at first about the claims of no brake fade and dust, but after using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it’s true. The brakes perform just as well in wet conditions as they do in dry ones. I also appreciate the gray-colored ceramic material on the backplate, which seems to help reduce heat transfer into the fluid. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to fellow riders.

I’ve had these brake pads on my Honda CRF 250L for a few months now, and I’m impressed with their durability. They provide excellent braking power, even in wet conditions. However, I do find that they can be a bit noisy when the bike is cold. Maybe it’s just my bike, but I’m overall happy with this product.

What’s the best way to improve the heat dissipation of these brake pads? I’ve been wondering about that since I installed them on my Piaggio Medley ie. By the way, great product! The all-round braking performance is excellent, and I appreciate how it lasts longer than other brands.
Dee Lee –
Thank you for your feedback, Jocelyn! We’re thrilled to hear that our DP Brakes Standard DP534 are performing well on your Piaggio Medley ie. To improve heat dissipation of the brake pads, I recommend cleaning the rotors and caliper regularly with a soft cloth or brush to remove any debris or dust. Additionally, you can try applying a thin layer of silicone-based lubricant to the backplate of the brake pad, as this will help reduce friction and heat buildup. This should result in improved braking performance and reduced heat dissipation issues. We appreciate your support for our product!
