Khai Leong –
Do these LED amber lights require any special wiring or installation for the optional resistor? I’ve never done this kind of modification before and would like some guidance.
Thomas Yap –
Hello Khai Leong, thank you for reaching out about the installation of the optional resistor with our Barkbusters LED Amber Light Indicator Handguards. The good news is that the resistor is a simple and straightforward addition to make. For the installation, you’ll need to cut the existing wiring on your handguard to accommodate the new resistor. We recommend consulting the product manual or seeking guidance from a professional if you’re not comfortable with the modification. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask. Our customer support team is here to help.

I was a bit skeptical about spending $97 on these handguards, but after using them for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s been worth every cent. The LED lights are so bright and easy to see from a distance, which has given me peace of mind while riding at night.

I was blown away by the brightness of these LEDs! They’re so easy to install and really make a difference in terms of visibility on the road. The fact that they have low power draw is also a big plus for me.

I’m really impressed with how durable these LED amber lights are! They’ve withstood some rough riding and still look brand new. My only minor complaint is that the cables could be a bit longer.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my new Barkbusters LED Amber Light Indicator Handguards! The increased visibility it provides is fantastic, and the fact that it’s easy to install makes it a no-brainer. I’ve used similar products in the past, but this one takes the cake. The 15 super bright LEDs really make a difference on the road.

Aisha Ali –
What’s the optimal way to attach these handguards to my bike? Do I need to purchase an optional resistor for each light? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! The product seems really cool, but I want to make sure I’m getting the most out of it.
Dee Lee –
Hi Aisha Ali, Thank you for your question! Attaching the Barkbusters LED Amber Light Indicator Handguards to your bike is a relatively straightforward process. The handguards are designed to be compatible with JET, VPS, and STORM guards, so you should be able to attach them to your existing guard. Simply align the handguard with your current guard and secure it using the included mounting system. As for the optional resistor, it’s only necessary if you’re experiencing issues with the light flash rate. If your lights are flashing correctly, you shouldn’t need to purchase a separate resistor for each light. For tips on installation and troubleshooting, I recommend checking out our product manual or reaching out to our customer service team. We’d be happy to help you get the most out of your new handguards!

I’m still on the fence about these handguards… The LED lights are really bright, I’ll give them that. But I’m not sure if they’re worth the price tag. Maybe it’s just me being cheap, but I think there are better options out there for half the cost.
