I’ve had these hand guards on my bike for a few months now, and I have to say that they’re holding up incredibly well. The aluminum backbone seems very durable, and the point mount hardware is secure. My only minor complaint is that the guards could be slightly more adjustable – sometimes they get in the way when I’m trying to squeeze through tight spaces.

What’s the best way to clean these hand guards? I’ve tried using some gentle soap and water, but I’m not sure if that’s the right approach. Also, do you think these hand guards would work well with other types of handlebars besides those on my BMW?

Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may damage the heat-treated aluminum backbone. While it was specifically designed for BMW R1200 GS/GSA/R, R1250R and S1000XR motorcycles, the hand guards should fit well on other bikes with similar handlebar configurations.
