I’m thoroughly impressed with the performance of this brake cylinder cooler. It’s been a game-changer for my motorcycle, keeping the brakes cool even during long rides. The build quality is top-notch, and the color-anodized finish looks great. My only minor gripe is that it took me some time to figure out how to install it correctly.

I’m still trying to figure out why the BCC-01 didn’t work as well for my Japanese motorcycle as it did for my friend’s American bike… Could be a compatibility issue? Anyone else have this experience?

What do you guys think is the best way to clean and maintain these coolers? I’ve tried some methods online, but I’m not sure if they’re effective. Any tips would be appreciated!
Dee Lee –
Thank you for reaching out, Jaden! We appreciate your enthusiasm in taking care of your Brake Cylinder Coolers (BCC-01 or BCC-02). Cleaning and maintaining these coolers is crucial to ensure their longevity and performance. Our recommendation is to gently wipe the coolers with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or high-pressure washes that might damage the anodized finish. For more thorough cleaning, we suggest mixing equal parts of water and white vinegar in a small bowl, then dipping a clean cloth into it and wringing it out thoroughly before wiping down the coolers. This method is effective without risking any damage to the billet aluminum alloy construction. Additionally, make sure to dry the coolers immediately after cleaning to prevent moisture buildup. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I was hesitant to spend so much on a brake cooler for my European motorcycle, but the BCC-02 has been a great investment. It’s kept my brakes cool even during intense riding sessions, and the CNC-machined construction feels sturdy and reliable. The only thing I wish is that it came with more detailed installation instructions.
