I’ve been using the Brakes STANDARD DP617 on my Royal Enfield and I must say it’s a game-changer. The all-around braking performance is excellent, whether it’s hot or cold, wet or dry. I was impressed with how well it handled the heat transfer into the fluid, preventing brake fade. The only minor drawback I experienced was that it took a bit longer to bed in compared to my previous brake pads.

Does it really matter if the brake pads are OEM replacement or not? I mean, as long as they work well and don’t break the bank, what’s the difference? I’ve been using the Brakes STANDARD DP617 on my KTM and so far, it seems to be doing the job just fine.

I’m really happy with the Brakes STANDARD DP617 on my Yamaha. The low wear rates and minimal brake dust are a huge plus for me. I also appreciate that it doesn’t make any noise, which is important for a quiet ride. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for new brake pads.

What I don’t understand is why these brake pads are so expensive? The price of $65 seems a bit steep for what you get. That being said, the performance is excellent and it does seem to be durable. Maybe the brand is just trying to make up for the lack of competition in this market? Anyway, for now, I’m happy with my purchase.
