Ducati Diavel 1260/S tank ring lock for secure bag attachment

The HEPCO&BECKER tank ring features magnetic centering and side ribs to securely fasten tank bags to Ducati Diavel 1260/S motorcycles. Its magnetic field is shielded by the tank bag’s base plate, protecting credit cards and electronic devices. The tank ring’s two permanent magnets can hold up to 3kg of weight and are compatible with all HEPCO&BECKER tank bags.

What’s not to love about this tank ring lock? It’s so easy to attach and detach my tank bag, and the magnets are incredibly strong. I’ve had no issues with it coming loose while driving – even when I’m taking sharp turns or hitting potholes. My only question is: could they have made the design a bit more aerodynamic? Sometimes I notice the lock sticking out slightly from the tank, which can create some wind resistance.

I’ve been using this tank ring lock for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The magnetic centering is spot on, and the side ribs ensure that my tank bag stays securely attached to my Ducati Diavel 1260/S. The weight capacity is impressive too – I’ve had no issues carrying multiple bags at once. My only minor gripe is that the packaging could be improved; the lock came in a flimsy plastic bag, which didn’t exactly instill confidence. However, the product itself has been rock-solid. I’d definitely recommend it to fellow motorcyclists.
