   What’s the best way to keep your radiator hose clamps from getting rusty? Should I use a lubricant or something? I’m new to dirt biking and want to make sure my bike runs smoothly.

To keep them from getting rusty, we recommend using a lubricant specifically designed for stainless steel components like Samco Sport’s marine-grade 304 W5 stainless steel worm drive clamps. You can apply a thin layer of silicone-based lubricant or a rust-inhibiting spray to the clamps and surrounding areas. Additionally, make sure to regularly clean the clamps with a soft cloth and mild detergent to prevent dirt buildup. Remember to follow the manufacturer’s instructions when applying any lubricants.
