I’ve been using the Premium Protection Package for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed with how well it has held up to minor scratches and scrapes. The aluminum crash bars are sturdy and look great on my Honda NX 400. However, I do wish they came in a slightly more compact design to fit smaller storage spaces.

I’m loving the added protection these crash bars provide! They’re so easy to install and look great on my Honda NX 400. However, I do wish they came with some sort of instruction manual or tutorial for first-time installers like myself.

What’s the best way to clean and maintain these aluminum crash bars? I’ve tried using a soft cloth and mild soap, but I’m worried about damaging them. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi May, thanks for your question! Cleaning and maintaining aluminum crash bars requires some care to avoid damaging them. I would recommend using a gentle cleaning product specifically designed for metal surfaces, such as a mild soap or a metal cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or high-pressure washes that can scratch the surface. After cleaning, dry the bars thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. You can also apply a layer of wax or silicone-based protection spray to provide an extra barrier against corrosion and make future cleaning easier. Remember to always read the product instructions before using any cleaning products on your crash bars. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

I’m not sure if I’d recommend this product to others… The aluminum crash bars do provide some added protection, but they can be a bit pricey for what you get. Maybe it’s just me being frugal, but I think there are more affordable options out there that still offer similar benefits.

I recently experienced an unexpected drop while riding my Honda NX 400, and the aluminum crash bars held up remarkably well. The minor scratches were easily wiped off with a damp cloth. I’m extremely satisfied with this premium protection package and would definitely recommend it to fellow riders.
