Attaching and detaching luggage cases from this side carrier is quite straightforward. Simply align the case with the carrier’s mounting points, then press down gently until it clicks into place. To detach, pull the quick-release lever and lift the case off. If you find it tricky at first, don’t worry – it’ll get easier with practice! As for issues with the mechanism, some of our customers have reported minor difficulties, but these are usually resolved by ensuring the case is properly aligned before attachment or detachment. While it’s possible that the design might be adaptable to other Royal Enfield models, we cannot guarantee compatibility with any other model beyond the Himalayan. For a Continental GT, you would need to check if HEPCO&BECKER offers an adapter or separate side carrier designed specifically for that model.
