ProTaper’s Self-Engaged Launch Assist (SELA) features a patent-pending twist dial that allows riders to set it up independently. The dual-hinged receiver ring facilitates quick installation without removing the fork or wheel. I’m thoroughly impressed with the SELa Device ProTaper! The twist dial is so intuitive, and I love how it reduces wheelie tendency on my bike. My only minor complaint is that the anodizing could be slightly better – after a few weeks of use, there’s a small amount of corrosion starting to form. However, this doesn’t affect the performance at all, and overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this product. It’s definitely worth the investment if you’re looking to improve your starts.

I’m a bit torn about the SELa Device ProTaper – on one hand, it’s definitely made my starts more aggressive and controlled, but on the other hand, I’m not entirely thrilled with the price. I think it’s a bit steep for what you’re getting. That being said, if you’re willing to invest in your riding experience, this product is definitely worth considering.
