The best placement will indeed depend on the type of bike you’re using it with. For adventure bikes, we recommend placing the USB port near the center of the bike, where air flows freely and evenly. This will help maximize airflow around the device while charging. For sports bikes, which tend to have more turbulent airflow, you may want to consider positioning the USB port slightly higher up on the handlebars or on a clip-on windscreen to reduce turbulence. Both the adhesive mount and zip tie mount are great options, depending on your specific use case. The adhesive mount is perfect for permanent installation, such as on a bike or car dashboard, while the zip tie mount provides more flexibility, allowing you to easily move the USB port around as needed. To install the USB port using the adhesive mount, simply clean the surface where you’d like to attach it, peel off the backing, and apply the adhesive. Press firmly for 30 seconds to ensure a secure bond. For the zip tie mount, simply thread the provided zip tie through the mounting hole on the USB port and around your desired anchor point (such as a handlebar or rail).
