The HEPCO&BECKER skid plate protects the manifold and engine block from rough contact with the ground or rock impacts. Made in Germany, it is a 3-4mm thick aluminum plate specifically designed for each bike model to fit the engine and exhaust system.

I’m thoroughly impressed with the build quality of this engine protection plate! The aluminum is thick and sturdy, and the fitment on my Triumph Tiger is spot-on. I’ve been riding rough trails and it’s held up beautifully. Is it really necessary to make such a heavy-duty plate for the engine? I mean, my Triumph Tiger is a sporty bike and I don’t plan on doing any serious off-roading. But hey, if it gives me peace of mind, I suppose it’s worth the extra weight. 4.5/5

I’m so frustrated with this product! I thought it would be easy to install, but nope – the instructions are basically useless and I ended up having to take my bike to a mechanic to get it done. And for what? It’s just an engine protection plate! The quality is fine, I guess, but the hassle was not worth it. 3.5/5
