I’ve been using the KTM Pipe Thermostat Connector for Adv 390 for a few months now, and I’m extremely pleased with its performance. The installation was a breeze, and the connector has held up to the harsh weather conditions in my area. My bike runs smoothly, and the engine temperature is always within the optimal range.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I find the connector to be a bit pricey considering its functionality. However, I must say that it does what it claims to do – keeps my engine temperature in check. The build quality is excellent, and I appreciate the ease of installation.

What’s the ideal operating temperature for this connector? I’ve noticed that it seems to get hot during long rides, but I’m not sure if that’s normal. Does anyone know if there are any upgrades or modifications available to improve its performance?

Thank you for reaching out about your concerns with the KTM Pipe Thermostat Connector – Adv 390 (JP601224). The ideal operating temperature for this connector is around 180°F to 190°F (82°C to 88°C), which is normal for most motorcycle engines. As for upgrades or modifications, we’ve had some customers who have successfully installed aftermarket thermostat kits that claim to improve performance and efficiency. However, please note that these are not officially recommended by KTM, and it’s essential to consult with a professional mechanic before making any changes to your bike. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
