I’ve been using this CVT air filter for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed with the improvement in my Yamaha X Max’s engine performance. The installation process was a breeze, and it’s easy to clean. One thing I’d like to know is how often should I replace the filter to maintain optimal performance?
Dee Lee –
Thank you for sharing your experience with our Yamaha X Max CVT air filter, Kelvin! We’re glad to hear that it’s made a positive impact on your engine performance. As for the replacement interval, we recommend replacing the filter every 5,000 to 7,500 km or as indicated in your owner’s manual. Regular cleaning can also help maintain optimal performance. Would you like to know more about our maintenance tips?

I was blown away by the performance improvement of my Yamaha X Max after installing this CVT air filter. The engine seemed to have more power and responsiveness, especially during acceleration.

Does anyone know if this air filter is washable? I don’t want to have to replace it every time it gets dirty.
Thomas Yap –
Hi Aaron, thank you for reaching out! Our CVT air filter is designed for optimal engine performance and reliability. While it’s not explicitly stated as washable, our product description emphasizes its durable construction. However, we recommend consulting the manufacturer’s instructions or contacting their customer support directly to confirm whether this particular air filter can be washed.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I feel like the air filter is a bit too big for my bike. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does stick out a bit more than I’d like.
Nisha Lim –
I’m not entirely sure if this CVT air filter is worth the $17 price tag. While it does seem to have improved my Yamaha X Max’s performance, I’m not convinced that it’s a significant upgrade compared to other accessories on the market.
Jeremy Koh –
